The Greater Topeka Partnership seeks an outgoing leader with experience in lobbying at the local, state, and federal level to serve as the President of the Topeka Chamber & SVP of Government Affairs. The President of the Topeka Chamber & SVP of Government Affairs will be an integral part of our leadership team.

Minimum salary of $110,000 (negotiable based on experience), excellent benefits package and flexible work schedule.

Major duties include:

· Join the team that is moving Topeka forward and creating Momentum!

· Lead advocacy efforts at the local, state, and federal levels, advancing policies that drive business and community growth.

· Serve as the primary liaison to the Chamber Board, elected officials, and the Chamber’s PAC while overseeing governance and supporting strategic leadership across the organization.

· Cultivate strong relationships with policymakers and community stakeholders to champion the Chamber’s priorities and legislative success.

A strong candidate will possess:

· At least five (5) years’ experience in law, government relations and/or lobbying.

· Good working knowledge of basic business and economic principles.

· Strong written and verbal communication skills, including public speaking experience.

· A background in non-profit board service or governance.

· Demonstrated ability to build and sustain productive professional relationships.
