Position: Operations Manager

SUMMARY:

Iredell EDC is seeking to fill the role of Operations Manager. We are looking for an Operations Manager who brings energy, precision, and a passion for organizational excellence to our mission-driven team. This is a unique opportunity to play a central role in ensuring that Iredell EDC runs smoothly and effectively each day. The person in this role will help connect people, systems, and processes—supporting operations, financial management, board and investor engagement, and key events that shape our work across the county and region.

We are seeking someone who is exceptionally organized, detail-oriented, and skilled at managing multiple priorities at once. The ideal candidate is comfortable navigating QuickBooks and Microsoft Office, learning new systems like CRMs, and translating financial information into clear, useful insights. They maintain accuracy even under tight deadlines, communicate with polished professionalism, and naturally create structure in environments with many moving pieces. Someone who anticipates needs, solves problems before they escalate, and maintains confidentiality will thrive in this role.
