Alamo Colleges District (ACD) — one of the largest and most innovative community college systems in the nation, is searching for the next Vice Chancellor for Economic Mobility and Workforce Development, a pivotal role that will shape the future of workforce education and economic growth across the San Antonio region.
As the chief architect of ACD’s workforce strategy, the Vice Chancellor will:
- Lead district-wide workforce development initiatives aligned with industry needs.
- Forge strategic partnerships with employers, economic development entities, and community organizations.
- Oversee regional education and training centers, corporate training, and large-scale grant programs.
- Drive innovation in workforce education, including short-term training programs and emerging credentials.
